Firefighters called out to Cuero house fire for second time

ADVOCATE STAFF REPORT

CUERO – Firefighters were called back to the scene of a house fire Friday morning after the flames rekindled, according to the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office.

The fire was first reported at 10:10 p.m. Thursday at 213 Miltenberger Road, and people in the immediate area were evacuated. There were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters were called back to the scene at 6:57 a.m. Friday when the fire started up again. It was under control by about 7:45 a.m.
