Santa Rosa Street closed to thru traffic for two weeks

from News ReleaseSanta Rosa Street will be closed to through traffic from Main to William streets on Monday for final paving.

Construction is expected to take about two weeks, weather permitting.

The contractors working on the downtown water and sewer projects have scheduled the following work to begin on May 4:

Final paving of Bridge Street and Bridge Street/ Goodwin Avenue intersection.

The city will reduce Bridge Street to one lane northbound at the Goodwin Avenue intersection, but Goodwin Avenue will be closed at the intersection. Final paving is expected to take about one week, weather permitting. Final paving of the Bridge Street/Santa Rosa Street intersection

Water line installation on Juan Linn Street between Wheeler and Navarro streets. The city will reduce Juan Linn Street to one lane eastbound between Wheeler and Navarro streets Tuesday to install water lines. Water line installation is expected to take about one week, weather permitting.

All businesses and parking lots in the work zone will remain accessible via alternate routes.
