The 41st annual Miss Victoria pageant will feature 27 girls vying for titles in four categories.

"We've got a great group of girls who are role models in our community," said Debbie Bennett Green, who has been pageant director since 1991. "Whoever goes home with the crown can expect a year full of community service."

Pageant categories include Little Miss, ages 4-7; Young Miss, 8-11; Junior Miss, 12-15; and Miss Victoria, 16-20.

In addition to an opening number to kick-off the pageant, contestants will compete in interview, casual wear and formal wear. Finalists will be asked a final interview question.

The girl crowned Miss Victoria will earn a $1,000 savings bond. Young Miss wins a $500 savings bond and the winners of the two youngest categories are awarded $250 savings bonds.

The reigning queens include: Miss Victoria Devon Bennett, Junior Miss Victoria Laney Hempel, Young Miss Victoria Shelby Goslin and Little Miss Soulel Fair.
