Receipts: 796

Had 54 cows and 17 bulls. Packer market was mainly steady with last week's market on the small supply. The same shortage of cows and bulls continuesto drivethis market. Only 20 head palpated with nothing bred over 5 months. Only a few pairs to sell as well. the calf market was a little weaker due mainly to the corn price incresing because of severe drought in Russia. Demand still is good and market very active. Extremely hot weather has prevented a lot of ranchers from working cattle-hence receipts continue to be light.

Compared to last week better quality calves sold mostly steady - instances $1 higher to $2 lower. Demand continues to be very good.
