Jesse and Sylvia Escalona of Victoria celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2010, at the VFW Hall in Victoria with a reception and dance hosted by their children and grandchildren. The Majestics and Bandolero Band provided the music.

Sylvia Rendon and Jesse Escalona were married June 16, 1972.

Children of the couple are Jesse and Danielle Escalona, Raymond and Valarie Valdez, and Henry and Vanessa Barrios, all of Victoria.

Grandchildren of the couple are Michael, Kristen, Kelly, Raymond III, Mikayla and Melody, all of Victoria.

Jesse is employed by La Ley Spanish Radio and Car Country as a salesman. He is the band leader of Bandolero Band for the past 43 years. Sylvia is a devoted housewife.
