  • I would guess, and it is a swag, that the ROI would be determined by a combination of local payroll, taxes paid and local services and materials purchased by Caterpiller. An exact dollar amount would not be public because it is propriatory information that no company would care to share with it's rivels.

    As far as Dale and the staff at VEDC is conserned I have dealt with them and they have been a credit to Victoria. Thanks for your hard work VEDC.

    Can you give us the figure you are using to predict the (16%) return upon?

    You quote Ray Perryman regarding the "obligation to invest wisely for the benefit of Victoria's taxpayers."

    How can we, the taxpayers, best monitor that investment?
