Part fantasy, part dream and part circus, the shows produced by Cirque Productions have grown since its 1993 inception into a worldwide phenomenon that includes 13 original shows. In fact, it's estimated that more than 20 million people worldwide have experienced a Cirque Dreams brand show in theatres, casinos, theme parks and arenas, according to the official Cirque website.

And most recently, the show "Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy" hit Broadway to rave reviews.

This October, however, you won't have to travel far to see one of their lavish productions since "Cirque Dreams: Illumination" will hit the stage at the Majestic Theatre at the end of the month.

"'Cirque Dreams: Illumination'" blends world-renowned imagination, critically-acclaimed theatrical innovation and breathtaking presentation into a story that illuminates a city of everyday people, workers and pedestrians into feats of disbelief," according to the description on the website. "Urban acrobatics, dazzling choreography and brilliant illusions are ignited by special effects performed to a stylish original score of jazz, salsa, ballroom, pop and trendy beats from the streets."

But the show isn't just all about mind-boggling tricks and stunts. It's also a visual treat. Each production averages more than 500 components that gives the show its look, according to the website.

The show will run Oct. 26-Oct. 31 at Majestic Theatre in San Antonio. Tickets go on sale Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. via www.ticketmaster.com and range in price from $30-$73.
