NORDHEIM - Two juveniles were identified in the Aug. 23 tagging of several buildings in Nordheim.

A 14-year-old Nordheim girl and a 15-year-old Runge girl admitted to the vandalism, said DeWitt County Sheriff Jode Zavesky.

The suspects were reported by an adult relative, Zavesky said. It's unclear whether the two girls are related.

The juveniles had used black spray paint to tag what is believed to be the area code "830" and "SUR13" in several places in Nordheim including the cemetery.

Both juveniles are in the custody of their guardians pending further action.
