Area Low Cost Agency, 1803 N. Navarro St, was robbed at gunpoint at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

A man in his 20s demanded money from an employee, who turned over a bank bag containing $20, said Lt. Jason Cross, with the Victoria Police Department.

No one else was in the insurance agency at the time.

The man was last seen fleeing on foot west on Trinity Street.

The man may have had an accomplice, as the two had entered the agency about half an hour before the robbery, Cross said.

The man is described as a slender, 5-foot-5-inch black man with a slight beard, wearing a plaid shirt and khaki pants.

The possible accomplice is described as a 5-foot-3-inch to 5-foot-5-inch Hispanic man, who had a bandage on his face, Cross said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200.
