Coats and blankets for those in need in Victoria County are being collected during the 17th annual "Wrap a Child in Warmth" campaign sponsored by Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company.

Collection barrels are in place at several places in Victoria. Triangle Cleaners is once again donating cleaning the coats and blankets before they are distributed by the Victoria school district's KIDZ Connection.

"This is our 17th year to assist with the 'Wrap A Child In Warmth' campaign here in Victoria, and we think it's a great program. The holidays are a special time of giving, and we see this campaign as a way to give something back to the community and help needy children in our county stay warm during the winter," said Lee Swearingen of Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company, in a news release.

Monetary donations are also being taken to purchase additional coats and warm items. Any contributions should be made out to KIDZ Connection and can be dropped off at either KIDZ Connection or Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company.
