  • Good job Dianna on the reporting, but a couple of things were left out.

    OPIC (Office of Public Insurance), another state agency, recommended that this permit be denied because of obvious potential groundwater contamination. That recommendation was disregarded as well.

    EPA has the final say, either granting or denying the Aquifer Exemption, so it's not a "go" yet.

    Incidentally, I have a couple of acres out here close to Coleto Creek that is now for sale, but I can't guarantee the quality of the water in the future.
