Nowhere in the Constitution is there any authority which would allow the federal government to require citizens to purchase something (health insurance) they don't want -- even if it's a good idea. He and his czars and cabinet secretaries issue "rules" that are contrary to court decisions and the wishes of congress regarding the internet (which doesn't belong to the government) and "greenhouse" emissions. Little blue-haired grandmothers and small children are groped in airports by the TSA while the southern border is wide open. Indeed, BO's administration is demonizing the state of Arizona for attempting to do what the feds are refusing to do -- control the border with Mexico. BO wants to fast-track illegal aliens to citizenship (Dream Act), believing they'll vote almost en-bloc as democrats. His continuing warrantless wiretaps and surveilance on citizens is hardly conducive to making people believe that he's a fan of liberty. Yeah, I know it started under the previous administration, but he's had two years to change it; he hasn't. Indeed, things are worse now. I refer you to the airline pilot who has been punished by the TSA for bring forth the truth about the security procedures at airports. He disagrees with the BO administration, so his First Amendment rights are threatened. BO said in an interview before his election that he would punish his enemies. His treatment of the airline pilot is an example.

Yep until the Phelps either commit or plausibly incite actual violence they have every right to vent their vile, disgusting AND VERY CHRISTIAN VIEWS. The dirty little secret about lil' Freddy Phelps is that lots of "conservative Christians" (ie. fun-dee-mentalists) agree with most of Phelp's ghastly assessment of the moral failings of the USA--they just don't like his in your face way of making his point. After all, the USA is God's country and protesting the death of military personnel protecting God's country is going a little too far for your average fun-dee-menatlist.
