We got a notice that the rates would be increased on the same bill the rates were increased. I suppose it was so we couldn't dispute or cancel before rates were charged to us. Very shady. Now we have the "scare" of having channels taken away a few days before it actually may happen. We were notified from the Victoria Advocate and not the company Why aren't we being informed before things are happening? My daughter watches Nick Jr. religiously and we would have been screwed if I hadn't read the paper and found out. Now come to find out we didn't lose the channels at all. Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on, because apparently Suddenlink doesn't think enough of us to keep us informed.

Suddenlink jumped everyones rate 5 bucks, and added a staticky ch 96. Do they ever warn before they increase? Or did I miss the memo?

Suddenlink just jumped my rate another five bucks, and is now going to dump channels? I'm calling Dish or Direct TV.

Time Warner Cable isn't any better.......you can switch to Direct TV or Dish can't you? You should really wish for U-Verse, I love it, never had any problems in the 4 yrs we have had it.....no increase in cost, no outages & none of these hostage channel situations.

That's too bad. I'm going to really miss TV Land.

time for Time Warner cable to come into Victoria. Their internet service is better anyways.
