Editor, the Advocate:

I have grown tired of hearing it.

I'm sick of people running down our president.

Y'all have had it for 200 years and messed that up, especially the last eight.

Obama was handed a messed-up economy, war and whatever else we do and don't know about.

You people are the reason he's president.

People were tired of the way things were going.

So really, your Republican ways actually helped put Obama in office.

And if you're not careful, expect to see him there another four years.

Is this all you people can do? Run down Obama?

I know what your real problem is.

You can't stand to see him in there. It's eating you up.

Welcome to your America.

If you don't like it, Leave it.

You say Billie Jean King, I say the Williams sisters, you say Neil Armstrong, I say Dr. Bernard King, you say Jerry West, I say Kobe Bryant, you say Jack Nicklaus, I say Tiger Woods, you say Larry King, I say Roland Martin, you say Tom Landry, I say Tony Dungy, you say Clear Channel, I say Radio-one, You say Brooks & Dunn, I say Beyonce. You say John Hagee, I say T.D. Jakes.

I think you get my point.

Get over it.

We can be it. We can do it! We've done it.

The day of the field-hand is long gone - never to return.
