Ronald and Barbara Chumchal of Shiner are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lanita Chumchal to Robert Shane Corkren of Katy, son of Tom and Pearla Daniel and the late Jack Corkren.

The couple will marry at 2 p.m. on April 17, 2010, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner.

Jamie is a 1995 graduate of Shiner High School and a 1999 graduate of Texas A & M University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed by Hess Corporation in Houston as a global supply chain specialist.

Robert is a 1991 graduate of Northbrook High school in Houston and attended Stephen F. Austin State university and studied business economics and engineering. He is employed by Schilling Robotics in Houston as a strategic account manager.
