Larry and Mary Horton of Edna are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Gayle Horton, to Colbey James Cunningham of Edna, son of Joe and Crystal Cunningham of Ellsworth, Pa., and Cecilia and Harry Kubeczka, Jr. of Houston.

The couple will marry at 3 p.m. on March 20, 2010, at Baptist Temple in Edna.

Stephanie is the granddaughter of Anton and Dorothy Mader of El Campo and the late Howard and Beatrice Gloor. She was the 2004 Edna High School Salutatorian and a 2007 graduate of Victoria College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Stephanie is currently pursuing Master's of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is employed by Citizens Medical Center as a registered nurse.

Colbey is the grandson of Charles and Gwen Jones of Edna, Emily Kappe of Houston, and the late Betty "Nannie" and Sturgis Cunningham. He is a 2003 graduate of Edna High School and attended Victoria College. Colbey is currently attending Coastline Community College pursuing a degree in Process Technology. He is employed by Halliburton Energy Services in Prudhoe Bay, Ala.
