Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stewart of Palacios are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Stewart of Houston, to Christopher Dalton Martin of Houston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Martin of La Porte.

The couple will marry at 4:30 p.m. on March 27, 2010, at Sunset United Methodist Church in Pasadena.

Amanda is a 2000 graduate of Victoria High School and a 2005 graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. She is employed by Kudela & Weinheimer as a project designer and associate.

Chris is a 1999 graduate of La Porte High School and a 2005 graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. He is employed by Thompson+Hanson as a designer and project manager.
