Construction continues for the three new schools in the Victoria school district. All three will open in August. Construction updates for Victoria East High School were not available.

Victoria West High School

n Installed carpet

n Continued toilet partitions

n Installing first floor doors and hardware

n Finished installing library casework

n Dropping ceiling tile area E and F 99 percent complete

n Installing acoustical wall panels 98 percent complete

n Installed stage curtain and stage lights

n Started auditorium carpet and installed strip lights

n Installing sound system in auditorium

n Continued plumbing fixtures on the first floor

n Painting first floor hard ceilings and second coat area C, E and F painting door frames

n Testing fire alarm

n Continued area C and E VCT

n Started installing wire mesh partitions

n Final cleaning area H

n Stair tread and risers at stair one and 2 are 80 percent complete.

n Cleaning parking lots, started striping

Cade Middle School

n Hydromulch

n Working on punch list items all areas

n Miscellaneous electrical work for added scope all areas

nContinued external sprinkler system installation and started drilling holes for trees.
