I don't understand how so many people of the community can not help out the Boys and Girls Club. They are there to help parents that work and can not afford that high paying camps you see around town offering. Also there to help those that parents want to see there kids doing something all day and not sitting at home glued to the TV or Video Games. We have so many companies that can donate to these kind of organizations. I can not see why they just ignore those that are keeping the kids off the streets and being there for them while there parents are away. I applaud the boys and girls staff for doing the best they can on the budget they have.

Disregard the free part. I was reading another article on caller.com and had a brain cell misfire.

I guess the thieves were afraid that the free air conditioners wouldn't be there when they went in during normal operating hours for the Boys and Girls Club. Seriously how low can you get to steal from a charitable organization trying to help those with low income.

Taxpayervoter, I wondered the same thing about the entertainment aspect and then I understood:
Club is in the title, so "clubs" are for entertainment OR since many people are entertained by hurting the non-profit agencies in this town, then there you have it. This isn't the only non-profit agency that has been robbed lately. Some people in this town target these agencies whose purpose is to assist the most fragile people.
