Yes police reports have been filed or were they even filed? With Cuero PD about this problem several times before because of these young guys driving down the public road that they have went down all there life cause ones grandma and one lives in the same area, Cuero PD was once around when all the guys chased the young guys did they do anything to them...NO....This seems to be somthin that Cuero PD is letn get out of hand.

Is there some kind of turf war going on in Cuero? Why would two eighteen year olds shoot a couple of brothers twice their age? Can someone who lives in Cuero enlighten the rest of us?

Laurahoney...I'm thinkin' their lives were ruined long ago. I seriously doubt that attempted double murder was their first stab at crime. I'd be willing to bet a Big Mac against a Whopper that they started their lives of crime before they became teenagers.

Obviously these guys have no FAITH, as anyone with faith and Jesus tattoed on their body would never consider something such as trying to murder....What a copout for these thugs....killing someone for any reason is INEXCUSABLE...short of self defense from thugs....these type of people deserve to rot in jail, if not under the jail....as for the brothers they tried to kill...if they to are in trouble with things they should not do....they best seek God in their life for a change....I have no history on the family of these men and do not want any history....they know if/what they may be doing and need to do a wakeup call on themselves since they were not killed.....as for the shooters they give the gun control a bad wrap and are costing the taxpayers money.....not only by being in jail in the future, but the cost of our "RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS".....these thugs have no idea what a gun is really for and have no right to own a gun of any type. I went to school with Hector and his older brother Eugene was graduating my freshman year. Hector was ALWAYS VERY SWEET and KIND to everyone. VERY SMART and didn't really get in any real trouble that I knew of. ALSO, very easy on the eyes, might I say! His brother, Eugene I didn't know so well, but seemed OK. And I didn't really know his younger brother that got murdered. I know that it all started over a fight and that's a shame. This world is really going to the pits and very fast.

Smaller towns are SUPPOSED to be safe, so we always heard/hear. Well, that is no longer it seems. More and more you hear of these horrible acts in many small towns all over the U.S.

I pray for the Gamez family. Regardless of them being in prison and bad choices in general, NO ONE deserves to be shot like that. Especially when their younger brother/ child is still fresh in the ground.
