Maggie Genevieve Stirneman and Martin Everitt Gibson were married at 7 p.m. on July 24, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yoakum. Father Manuel La Rosa Lopez of Richmond officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her brother, Dr. Jordan Stirneman

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dieringer of Yoakum and the late Dennis W. Stirneman. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Maggie Jahn of Yoakum and the late Mr. Rudolph Jahn Jr.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Gibson of Conroe. grandson of Mrs. J.P. (Dolly) Heintz of Conroe and the late Mr. John Patrick Heintz, Sr., and Mrs. Betty Stinson Gowing of Conroe and the late Mr. Seth Malone Gibson, Sr.

Arron Jahn Hester of Austin served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sommer Pool of Houston, Julie Stirneman of Houston, Molly Lesley of Lampasas, Billie Jean Langham of Fort Worth, and Kristen Schley of Goliad. Junior bridesmaid was Madeline Hill of The Woodlands. Emma Hill of The Woodlands and Sophie Jahn of Yoakum attended as flower girls.

Philip Rife of Houston served as best man. Groomsmen were John Persha of Houston, Miguel San Juan of Houston, Adam Gibson of Houston, brother of the groom, Browning Heard of Houston, and Kevin Green of Houston. Benjamin Jahn of Yoakum served as ring bearer.

Paula Adamek served as lector. Acolytes were Anna Catharine Adamek and Seth Adamek.

A reception was held following the ceremony in Shiner. Following wedding travel to Belize, the couple will reside in Houston.

The bride is a graduate of Yoakum High School and Texas A&M University at College Station with a 2006 Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development. She is employed by Parker Drilling Co. in Houston.

The groom is a graduate of St. Thomas High School in Houston and Texas A&M University at College Station with a 2006 Bachelor of Science degree in Spatial Science and a 2008 Masters of Science. He is employed by Exxon Mobil Exploration Co. in Houston and is currently enrolled at Rice University for a Masters of Science in Subsurface Geoscience.
