Decora Study Club installs officers

The Decora Study Club held its final meeting for the 2009-2010 year on May 13.
The end of the year luncheon was in the home of Norma Franz.
President Bonnie Peterson called the meeting to order. The collect was repeated in unison. Secretary Jane Cox read the minutes of the previous meeting. Treasurer Jalayne Tupa presented her report.
Peterson thanked and presented the retiring officers with a gift for serving on her board.
Program chairman of the day introduced the installing officer, Emily Markette. Markette is a past president of Decora.
The following officers were installed, president Lillian Alex; first vice president, Jacquie Fritz; second vice president, Mary Jane Schurtz; co-chairman, Dee Skeete; third vice president,
Doreta Keith; recording secretary, Carol Moore; corresponding secretary, Jo Cornstubble; treasurer, Beth Persons; program chairman, Bobbie Green; co-chairman, Norma Nelsen; historian, Margaret Vaughn; parliamentarian, Dottie Davis; public relations, Martha Jones; and federation counselor, Bonnie Peterson. Each officer presented their duties and they were declared installed.
All the members of the social committee with Lillian Alex, chairman and co-chairman, Doreta Keith
were thanked. A brunch was served by this committee.
Decora meetings will resume in September.
