  • Can you imagine the teachers who are assigned as crossing guards for these schools? Heck, it's difficult enough to get drivers to stop on Mockingbird by Howell and Rowland, so I can just imagine the danger on Cuero Highway and John Stockbauer. Whooee.

Talk about a thankless, dangerous job, this ramps it up to unbelievable.

  • Main problem, schools was built in the wrong places. Just does not make since to place so many in a dangerous situation by, building so close to intersections, and high traffic. They should of been built in a different location, not high traffic. Someone is going to get hurt bad in a wreck before they realize this.

  • "I don't know what we would do to improve it, for one thing."

How about two additional entrance and exits at East High. I drove around the school and there is more than enough room
    on the other streets.

  • Last minute flurries would not be needed if the front-end load study would have been done correctly and included people that are experts in the issues, not local yahoos that want their names in the newspaper.
