  • I suspect this guy has been in and out the prison system all of his life and does not care if he returns. He cannot get a job or otherwise, survive, on his own and must live off the system. He is probably a local and will be apprehended soon because his friends and or family would turn in their own mother for the reward money that they will offer. The End.

  • I want to know why every ones not on here complaining that the VPD and VCSO are wasting time and resources on this crime? After all it is a federal crime just like illegal immigration and people are in an uproar over our local tax dollars being spent on that. Why not this?

Don't get me wrong, I think its the job of law enforcement to handle both. Regardless of city, county, state or federal. When a bank gets robbed it is a federal crime and local law enforcement should start the investigation then turn it over to the feds when they arrive. Just like illegal immigration. If local law enforcement discovers illegal immigrants, they should start the investigation then turn it over to the feds to finish it.

To say Illegal immigration is the sole responsibility of the feds because its a federal crime is to say VPD and VCSO should not respond to a bank robbery for the same reason. Don't you think?

  • Why can't you make the photo of the robber larger rather than the photo of the Bank Lobby door?? Just common sense to me...

  • That's one brave bank robber, two blocks from the police Dept. , one block from the SO and county jail and what? Two blocks from the federal courthouse? he could have just walked on over!

  • Thank goodness for cameras, since the robber wasn't wearing a disguise.
Here's my question--where did his getaway car park, I can't ever find a parking space downtown when I need one. And don't get me started about the sidewalks' situation.
