  • For clarity's sake, Terrell's comment about how "it's hard to live off people that already have families" was in response to a question about whether she has a family friend that may be able to support them temporarily.

    Thanks for reading, everyone.

  • Who said she was living off of wellfare? Most women get child support, if the daddy is not a dead beat dad, and pays/pays on time. And have you checked into child care, it does cost a lot. That is why when all three of my children was growing up, my husband only worked. If I would of worked, all of my money would of gone to daycare providers. Don't judge her, you do not know her situation. And as for CPS, they are not what they claim to be. And cause more heartaches than provide help.
I pray this mother/her children/unborn child/ gets help they need. Who knows, with the way the work situation is right now, maybe she couldn't find a job, and be able to be there for her children. A lot won't hire you if you got children at home. Cause, you can't give your all to the work force.

  • How fortunate that everyone got out in time! Thank goodness.

As for the how's, why's and WTH's - since this article states "In the meantime, Terrell is unemployed, without her clothes, furniture or bedding, she said." which could be interpreted in a number of ways including a possibility that she had a home based business which now lies in charred ruins. Who knows?

Couple that with the article giving no indication as to how long she had been in this current situation and what life events brought her to such circumstances I will not make any speculative off-the-cuff remarks that would make me look like I enjoy judging other people's misfortunes thinly disguised as social commentary on the prevalence of welfare ne'er do wells.
