A Monday wreck on U.S. Highway 59 near Oak Colony Drive is under investigation.

Three people were injured during a Monday afternoon wreck on U.S. Highway 59 near Oak Colony Drive.

About 2:15 p.m., a black Mercury Cougar and a gold Buick Le Sabre were southbound on U.S. Highway 59.

The Mercury rear-ended the Buick, causing the Cougar to go airborne, roll over and end up in a ditch, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Thomas Arriaga said.

The Buick ended up in the median.

The Buick had two adult occupants, a man and a woman, while the Mercury had one occupant, its male driver.

All people involved in the wreck were taken to DeTar Healthcare System via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The victims' names were not known as of Monday evening.
