June 18, 2010 at 1:18 a.m.

FROM NEWS RELEASE

DeLeon Street will be reduced to one-lane northbound between Juan Linn and Church streets on Monday to install water lines.

Construction is expected to take about a week, weather permitting.

All businesses and parking lots in the work zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. The city and contractor are working to reduce public inconvenience; however, drivers may experience delays in this area. Alternate routes are suggested when possible.

This construction is part of the $2,092,079 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Phase I, Projects 3 & 4); this phase is estimated to be complete in seven months.

The contractor performing the work is SER Construction Partners of Pasadena.
