  • This bread is identical to the bread served at the Shiner Restaurant. Wonder if that's where Laura got the recipe or if the restaurant got the recipe from her? Anyway, it's delicious, although my loaf stuck to the pan when I tried to remove it. Next time I'll spray a little Pam on the bottom. It is great served warm right from the oven or even a day later for breakfast!

  • After seeing this recipe in the paper yesterday, I tried it! It is delicious and so easy to make! The first loaf didn't last long enough! I am now making another! Thank you so much for this recipe!
