Kalisek-Gibson

Jill Nicole Kalisek and Daniel Andrew Gibson, both of Port Lavaca, were married at 3 p.m. on June 26, 2010, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. Father Dan Morales officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Christine Kalisek of Port Lavaca. She is the granddaughter of Willie Warzecha of Point Comfort, the late Betty Warzecha, and the late Anton and Agnes Kalisek.

The groom is the son of David and Wanda Gaskamp of Port Lavaca and Michael W. Gibson of Houston. He is the grandson of Jack and Barbara Gibson of Port Lavaca, Lynette Thigpen of Victoria, the late Ned Thigpen, and J.R. and Lucille Gaskamp of Port Lavaca.

Melinda Griffin attended as the matron of honor. Emily Ondreas attended as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karley Rasmussen, Hillary Boyd, Stephanie Grawn, and Katie Budaus. Avery Griffin attended as flower girl.

Serving in the wedding party were Lori Hopmann and Casey Muelschen.

Darrin Watkins and Daniel Burriss attended as best men. Groomsmen were Jimmy Collins, Dennis Kalisek, Tim Gibson, and Brett Phillips.

Ushers were Matthew Warzecha, Patrick Warzecha, Chance Deckard, and Mike Gibson.

A reception was held following the ceremony at Bauer Community Center in Port Lavaca. Following wedding travel to Antigua, the couple will reside in Port Lavaca.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Calhoun High School and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. She is employed by Crain Middle School in Victoria as a science teacher and coach.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Calhoun High School and attended Victoria College. He has received his Journeyman Electrician License and State Air Condition Contractors License. He is employed as the manager of Beck Air Conditioning in Port Lavaca.
