Megan Jean Stubbs and Peter Charles Armenti, both of Alexandria, Va., were married April 17, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Victoria. Pastor Barney Matocha officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Vicki Stubbs of Austin. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Stubbs and the late Joseph Stubbs of Victoria, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Margaret Dennis of Victoria.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Josephine Armenti of Robbinsville, N.J. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Salvatrice Armenti of Trenton, N.J., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Ethel Svirek of Trenton, N.J.

Sara Stubbs, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Bull, childhood best friend and college roommate of the bride, and Lanicia Chaloupka-Swetlick, cousin of the bride. Aynsley Chaloupka, goddaughter of the bride, attended as junior bridesmaid. Madison Ferraris, niece of the groom, attended as flower girl.

Glenn Ferraris, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man. Richard Smith, friend of the bride and groom, served as groomsman. Connor Ferraris, godson and nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

Scott Bennett, Jake Green, and Blair Green, served as ushers. Holly Bennett, Shannon Casterline, Michele Chaloupka, Christi Drawhorn, and Jessi Green served as house party attendants. During the ceremony, scriptures were read by Salvatrice Ferraris, sister of the groom, and Caleb Allen, brother-in-law of the bride.

A reception was held at the St. Mary's Activity Center following the ceremony. After honeymooning at the Grand Canyon, the couple will reside in Alexandria, Va.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Crockett High School in Austin and a 2003 and 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station with a bachelor of science in agribusiness and a master of science public service and administration from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. She is employed by the Congressional Research Service in Washington, D.C., as an analyst in agriculture conservation and natural resources policy.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, N.J., and a 2000 summa cum laude graduate of Drew University in Madison, N.J., where he received a bachelor of science degree in English. In 2002, he received a master of science in library science from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He is currently employed by the Library of Congress as a reference librarian.
