Richard and Jayme Hermes of Point Comfort are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Patricia Hermes of Austin, to Jonathan Stinson of Austin, son of Robin Stinson of Austin and the late Bill Stinson.

The couple will marry on March 12, 2010, in Austin.

Patricia is the granddaughter of James and Jan Duckett of Port Lavaca, and Lelia Hermes of Hallettsville. She is a 2000 graduate of Calhoun High School and a 2005 graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and English. Patricia is employed as a committee director within the Texas Senate.

Jonathan is the grandson of Iris Leal of Kingsland. He is a 1998 graduate of McNeil High School and a 2002 graduate of Texas A & M University with a bachelor of science degree in political science. Jonathan is employed as a legislative director within the Texas Senate.
