Joe Louis and Balvina Rodriguez of Placedo are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristi Lynn Rodriguez of San Antonio, to John Paul Escobedo of San Antonio, formerly of Dallas, son of Jose Tomas Escobedo of Tampa, Fla., and Gloria Garza of Dallas.

The couple will marry at 3 p.m. on April 24, 2010, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Victoria.

Kristi, 30, is a 1998 graduate of Bloomington High School and a graduate of San Jacinto College. She is employed by Ulta Cosmetics in San Antonio as an assistant manager.

John Paul, 32, is employed by STAPLES in San Antonio as a general manager.

The couple will honeymoon in Los Cabos, Mexico, and reside in San Antonio.
