Students participate in festival

Students from the studio of Betty Jordan recently participated in the annual Baroque/Sonatina Festival held at The Victoria College. The annual event is sponsored by the Victoria Music Teachers Association for the purpose of promoting interest in classical music. Students are required to perform one memorized Baroque composition or one or more movements of a Sonatina or Sonata for evaluation by a respected guest judge. Students receive a certificate of participation, a comment sheet and a rating. All students were awarded medals for their performances. Cindy Hessong from Three Rivers served as adjudicator for the 2010 event.
