  • The research that shows daylight saving time causes more accidents or sleep loss is the same voodoo science that proves global warming. I'm sorry, shifting your sleep pattern one hour does not make a big difference. Most people vary their wake times or bed times by one hour in normal living. The idea is just stupid. It will not change energy usage at all. The only thing it does is allow most 9 to 5 people an extra hour of daylight to do something outside. The research mentioned in this article is as valid as me saying the reason there has been so many earthquakes is that we are taking the oil out of ground that makes the plates slide smoothly. Hey, maybe I can get a government grant to study that!
