Ms. Brittny Rae Garcia and Mr. Justin Dean Cain, both of Houston, were married at 6 p.m., on Oct. 3, 2009, in The Chapel at The Spring Chateau in Spring. The Rev. James R. Hensley officiated the double-ring ceremony. Duane Gonzales, uncle and godfather of the bride, delivered the scripture readings.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Joy Alex of Mission Valley and Tony and Pam Garcia of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Alex of Mission Valley, Ms. Mary Ann Garcia of Victoria, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Vukovich of Bryan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gonzales of Victoria. The bride is the great-granddaughter to Mr. Orby C. Ledbetter of Victoria, the late Mrs. Alta Mae Ledbetter of Victoria and the late Mrs. Antoinette Alex of Mission Valley.

The groom is the son of Alan and Susan Cain of Houston. He is the grandson of Ms. JoAnn Gore of Houston, and Mr. and Mrs. William D. Gore of Missouri City.

Tara Evans attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Savana Barela, Ashley Delgado, Amber Gonzales, cousin of the bride, Ashley Isaac, sister of the groom, Tessa Lee, Shelly Minke, sister of the groom, and April Shell. Alexah Daniel, cousin of the bride, attended as flower girl.

Brandon O'Neill and Vernon Wilkerson served as best men. Groomsmen were Brandon Alex, brother of the bride, Cameron Cain, brother of the groom, Chad Cain, brother of the groom, Tyler Cain, brother of the groom, Dave Prince and Swaim Gladden. Dawson Minke, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

Head usher was Paul Minke, brother-in-law of the groom. Dillon Minke, nephew of the groom, and Collin Garcia, brother of the bride, served as ushers.

A dinner and dance reception was held following the ceremony at The Spring Chateau in Spring. Following six days at the Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Houston.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Memorial High School in Victoria. She is currently working toward a business management degree. She is employed by a major oil company in Houston as a business development representative.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Westfield High School in Houston. He is employed by a major oil company in Houston as a sales account representative.
