There were no reports of injuries from an early Monday morning blaze that heavily damaged a small-wood frame house in Victoria, according to fire officials.

The 4:20 a.m. fire started at the back of a house at 1105 E. Convent St. and the building suffered heavy smoke, fire and heat damage. Fire officials said it was unoccupied at the time and there was no power to the house.
