Ray and Bobbie Long of Victoria celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 22, 2010. A family dinner is planned in the summer.

Bobbie Spann and Ray Long were married March 22, 1960, in Riverside, Calif.

Children of the couple are Carolyn Stokes of Ball Ground, Ga., Carl Travis Long of Actworth, Ga., Mark A. Long of Albuquerque, N.M., and Wesley Long of Victoria. They have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Ray is retired from Alcoa after 25 years and retired from Car Country. He bowls on the senior league on Mondays. Bobbie is employed by Citizens Medical Center as an LVN for 29 years. She bowls on several bowling leagues.
