Thanks, Kyle. I just quote YOU, Jesus, and/or Gandhi. =D

Thank you Rebecca. The name of the group could be called anything. Their actions speak volumes about how the open hand is stronger than the fist.

Always the wisest words are from Rebecca.
It seems Bighorn's MO here is to attempt to make it personal with regards to my comments on this subject matter. I don't know why he feels the need to act in this manner but, quite frankly m'dear, I don't give a damn.

“If Christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today.”

vet, they are also an example of people who are doing what Christians were told to do. Jesus said, "If you love me, feed my sheep." He didn't say, "If you love me, go fight about me on the internet with people who you have decided are anti-Christian."

I don't care if they were Hindu. The fact is they are a wonderful group of people that care more about their fellowman than those that have had great success in part to the labor of their great wealth. With enormous resources comes a basic rule to use them to best serve everyones future.

No thanks.
I'm dubious of any claims of donations to this entity given your attacks of the past. Got a canceled check as proof of your generous demeanor to a Christian charity?
Never mind....Have a wonderful weekend.

My comments speak for themselves, horn, as do yours. But that doesn't explain your lack of reading comprehension below - unless your comments were simply purile attempts at point scoring?
if so, congratulations, for you are a winner!

Hey Kyle: We've all read your previous posts and your anti-Christian stance is quite well documented. All too well documented.
July 14, 2011 at 6:27 p.m. -
Hey horn,
I have donated to this charity in the past. Reading comprehension is a must these days. I don't believe I attacked the organization mentioned in the article, I questioned the editorial flavor - in particular the last sentence. One has nothing to do with the other, but I appreciate your desire to attempt to connect them in order to justify your 5cents of smugness.
Silenced? Moi? Never, sir!

What a great organization. Its tragic that hunger is such a problem at all in our area. It seems our local government has an abundant amount of money for sometimes questionable things ($30,000 approved behind closed doors for lobbyist on the UHV switch) you would think they could do more to erradicate hunger in our area. A big Thanks to all the critical non-profits who serve our needy!

When called out, our most vocal anti-Christian is silenced by his own words choking is his throat?
What a wonderful day!

Well said, Digalitldper.
And, conversely, I would hope that one who is fortunate enough to give would not be concerned with the religious, political, sexual, or racial affiliation of the recipient, but rather give in the spirit of benefiting any and all who need it.
July 12, 2011 at 4:13 p.m. -
Digalitldper - you are right about the gist of the episode, but it was on "The Jeffersons", not "All In the Family". But yeah, it was a sobering punch line to the times, was it not?
Although there was a little "racial" mouth-to-mouth on "All In the Family" when Sammy Davis Jr. kissed Archie flush on the lips. The look on Archie's face was priceless.

It is an organization worthy to be praised. Whereas I fail to see it so often, they are doing it day-in and day-out.
July 12, 2011 at 1:13 p.m. -
Let's get this straight. The paper is supposed to praise gays, and ignore worthy charitible organizations.
Is that your final answer, Kyle?
July 12, 2011 at 12:32 p.m. -
Nope
July 12, 2011 at 8:06 a.m. -
Kyle - let it go for Christ's sake. We know your faithless stance. There is no need reminding everyone your position time and time again. If you can not see the bigger picture here, it makes me wonder how you can be so witty at times. I am sure you will have some smart mouthed rebuttal.

"Christ's Kitchen is truly one of God's miracles on Earth."
Which god is the VicAd editorial team promoting here?
July 12, 2011 at 7:10 a.m. -
I just came across this viewpoint/editorial today but had to comment, as I could not agree more. Christ's Kitchen is a wonderful organization, and I consider it an honor to have been one of its many volunteers.
