DeWitt County woman arrested for selling prescription drugs

CUERO - A 53-year-old DeWitt County woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of selling prescription drugs.

Norma Dornak Buchhorn is charged with delivering 121 Hydrocodone pills and 52 Xanax pills to an undercover DeWitt County Sheriff's deputy, according to a news release from Sheriff Jode Zavesky.

She was arrested at 2:30 p.m. at her home on Von Hafen Road.

Buchhorn remains in the DeWitt County Jail on $100,000 bond for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance of more than 28 grams and less than 200 grams.

She was also charged on a warrant from Oregon with aggravated theft, forgery and identify theft.

In addition, she was charged with violation of probation for a previous conviction of assault of a public servant.
