Anyone interested in watching polo matches can attend the Victoria Regional Museum Association's fifth annual Polo at McFaddin fundraising event.
The event will be at McFaddin Ranch Polo Grounds in McFaddin on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The museum association hopes to raise at least $60,000 for general operating costs.
Spectators can watch three matches with players from various locations, including San Antonio, Houston, College Station, Victoria and Argentina.
Additionally, participants can bid in a live and silent auction on events such as a fishing trip, jewelry, art and a villa in Manzanillo, Mexico.
For those interested in whetting their palates, 12 groups of tailgaters will be on hand with gourmet dishes.
Local Texas rock band Coastal Bend will provide live entertainment.
Morgen Trafton, executive director of the museum association, encourages everyone to attend.
"Polo at McFaddin is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. It's a unique atmosphere to enjoy gourmet food, fancy friends, and great music all while supporting the museum to enrich the community through art and history."
Trafton said the event attire is western chic.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
