  • We'd have less pedestrian accidents if some people would look both ways before they cross the road. Geez, people. Stop and think.

  • I am really surprised they didn't ask for an elevated walkway over the street. It would be much safer and the money is easy to get, just take it. At least it may get rid of another shabby property in Victoria.

  • I like the shuttle service idea the best! It seems like the safest way to go as hike and bike trail only confuse Victoria drivers as we have already seen!

  • Yes indeed, a very odd fascination with concrete. Drive on Ben Jordan from Airline going north to Crestwood and you will see holes where the concrete is missing. This is just one example, there are many more.

  • The new UHV students will get a warm welcome from all the whiny Victorians that post on the VA!

  • "The university also asked the city to build a sidewalk between Jaguar Hall and the H-E-B Store to the south.."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME! That is a long stretch. Why is the City building sidewalks for the University? At this rate, the University is going to have very little invested in their downward expansion.

Did I miss something? Like that this is literally the University of VICTORIA? Is the City fixing to take over ownership?

This city council has an odd fascination with concrete.
