Is Mexico's drug war spilling over into American soil? Do you feel threatened by the violence that currently terrorizes Mexican border towns in Ciudad Juarez, for example? That's what Ranging Reporter JJ Velasquez wondered Tuesday when he asked the question of the day. Here's how IHOP customers responded:
A: "Yes, I do. I think it's just going to keep progressing north."
Cindy Foulis, retired, La Ward
A: "Not really. I heard it's a bad idea to go to Mexico right now. Because of that, I don't plan on going for a while."
Aaron Alvarez, H-E-B, Victoria
A: "Yeah, I do. I've heard a lot of people are being killed down there and for not very good reasons. I think we already got some of it here to tell you the truth."
Carolyn Strnadel, administrative assistant for a ranch, Inez
A: "Not really, because I'm not into drugs, so I don't have to worry about that. No, I don't feel threatened."
