Car flips following collision on Nueces and Cameron streets

A woman was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro Tuesday night after the vehicle she was in flipped. It was struck by a car that failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Cameron and Nueces streets, witnesses said.

A Victoria woman was injured after her van flipped in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Nueces and Cameron streets about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The woman was traveling east on Nueces when a woman driving a white car failed to yield, according to preliminary reports, said Victoria Police officer Matt Luther.

The woman in the white car was traveling south on Cameron Street.

The woman in the van was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro. The extent of her injuries were not available Wednesday night.

Names and ages of those involved were also not available.
