One woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Houston Highway near Loop 463 on Tuesday morning.

One woman was injured in a Tuesday morning wreck on the Houston Highway near Loop 463.

Around 10:52 a.m., both Daniel Harber, 38, and Rhonda Davis, 45, were eastbound on the Houston Highway.

Police Officer Shane Wallace said Davis told him she took her eyes off the road for a second, causing her to run her black Mazda Millennia into the back of Harber's 18-wheeler.

Wallace said Harber told him a different story about what happened.

After the accident, Harber said Davis confessed to doing something with her checkbook at the time of the accident.

Davis was taken by ambulance to Citizens Medical Center with a leg injury.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

Although Davis was found at fault for the collision for failure to control speed, Wallace said she would not be ticketed.
