Two traffic signals lost power early Saturday after a vehicle struck a utility pole.

The vehicle was traveling south on North Navarro Street at 2 a.m. when the accident occurred.

Traffic signals at East Colorado Street and North Navarro Street, and at East Red River Street and North Navarro Street were temporarily manned by Victoria Police Department officers until City Traffic Control set up temporary stop signs, said Sgt. Jason Turner.

Tuner said some homes in the area also lost power.
