  • She will be greatly missed by MANY people here in Victoria. My daughters took art lessons from her. She did make every child feel so very special. I cried so on Saturday when I learned of her illness. I know that she is in heaven having a heck of a birthday party with the other angels. For the rest of her family, you are in our hearts and prayers.

  • Wow this is sad. My family and I used to do stuff with her and her family all the time when we were kids. We're gonna miss her. =(

  • She was an amazing woman, truly a gift to everyone she met. Her incredible smile, her patience and love of children made her a truly special woman. My son will miss her weekly art class, she will forever remain in our hearts.

  • What a huge loss this is. I erroneously thought she would always be here. Her friends in Humble, Texas will miss her, too. My prayers and heart goes out to you Marcel, Michelle, Marc, and Micah as well as to all who knew her in Victoria. She had the ability to touch us all so uniquely and so deeply. I pray that God's peace that passes all understanding dwell with each of us at this time. She's probably asking Jesus a million questions right now. Till we meet again...

  • Words cannot express the sadness we feel. Mrs. Ellie treated each of her students as if they were her favorite. She was more than an Art Teacher...she was a life teacher. She loved what she did, she loved her students, and her enthusiasm was contagious. We loved her and will miss her greatly!

  • I'm so saddened by this. She was the force behind our wonderful mural in Triple B Ranch at the Children's Discovery Museum.
    Rest in peace, Ellie.
