I am tired of funding Mr. Tyler's mistakes. He should resign or be voted out.
In regards to this editorial, the only positive comment I can muster at the moment is, well, that it's on the editorial page. Many, or most, of the papers news stories on this subject for the past two years should have been on the editorial page as well.
Private companies pay employees who don't or can't work all the time. When an employee is injured he or she might be out on "light duty" until they are capable of returning to work. When a school district employee or City employee is accused of some wrong they may be suspended with pay until the allegations are proven, or not. I am not a Tyler fan by any means but it is really not fair to fire an employee for being accused or something.
