GOLIAD - Goliad County commissioners voted 4 to 0 to decline the Navy's formal offer to buy the county's airpark.
Navy officials offered $2.3 million in late April to buy the airpark for training purposes.
The airpark is the former auxiliary landing field for the now closed Chase Naval Air Station in Beeville.
On Monday, the court officially received the offer and then voted to decline it.
"We voted not to accept the agreement," said County Judge Harold Gleinser.
Commissioners in March also voted 3 to 2 against selling the airpark to the Navy, although a formal offer had not been made.
An airpark committee was formed to advise commissioners on selling the airpark.
The court may vote at its next meeting on May 24 to re-instate the airpark committee, said Gleinser.
The group would look into economic development at the airpark.
