Parents have a large variety of activities to select when figuring out how to keep their children active this summer.
A list of activities appeared on Pages B4-B8 on Friday. Below are more camps to consider.
United Methodist Church Summer Camps
Where: Cathedral Oaks Worship and Retreat Center near Weimar
What: Victoria District Junior High Summer Camp
Who: Grades sixth, seventh, eighth (divided by grade completed)
When: July 25-28
Fee: $145
What: Victoria District Senior High Summer Camp
Who: Grades nine, 10, 11, 12 (divided by grade completed)
when: June 27-July 1
Fee: $150
Registration: Forms must be returned to Victoria District Office, 5606 N. Navarro St., Suite 200 C&D, Victoria, TX 77904, by the following deadlines: June 17, senior camp , July 15, junior camp - July 15.

Camp David Vacation Bible School
Where: First Presbyterian Church, 2408 N. Navarro St.
When: July 26-29

Wildlife Camp
What: 17th annual Wildlife Conservation Camp at the Welder Wildlife Refuge
Where: Welder Wildlife Refuge, near Sinton
When: July 11-17
Who: Students who have completed the ninth grade are eligible to participate in the camp sponsored by the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society and the Welder Wildlife Foundation near Sinton. Especially recommended for high school students who are considering a career in wildlife management or the natural sciences.
Campers will experience hands-on activities led by wildlife professionals, which include wildlife and plant identification, hunting as a management tool, species diversity, conservation ethics, wildlife capture and survey techniques, wildlife tracking, predator-prey dynamics, white-tailed deer management, fishing, hunter safety, shooting skills, and much more.

Victoria School District Summer Camp
What: CSI Forensics
Where: Patti Welder Middle School, 3006 E. North St.
Ages: Grades seventh-12
When: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., July 19-23.
