So glad they found his body. I am not from there but I can see that a lot of effort was put into the search. God bless each and everyone. I pray for this young man's family. That has to be so hard to lose such a wonderful young man.

Hats off to the numerous people who helped in this recovery. I crossed Hwy. 72 bridge many times a day and saw first hand all the cars, boats, trailers and trucks. I hope Jeremy's family comes to understand these people did all they could. They were risking their own lives during a time when the river was definitely not cooperating. To Jeremy's family --- my prayers are with you during this difficult time. To the many who risked their lives to bring closure for Jeremy's family --- God Bless You for your endless work. You make many of us proud to live in DeWitt County!!!

To Jeremy's family, my heart goes out. I pray God will be with them and that HIS love will be felt at this time. Unfortunately, the world tells us things that are not true according to God's Word. In love, I share with you that life is difficult and hard to deal with at times. We can't explain all that happens to us. It will definitely test us. But this testing does not determine if we go to heaven or hell, and neither is it determined by simply following the 10 commandments. We will ONLY spend eternity with God IF we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Please read Acts 4:12 in the Bible. I submit this with the utmost respect to all and pray for God's direction, as we all trust Him as Lord and Savior. It is ONLY by God's grace in sending His Son to us as the way to heaven and not by our works or human efforts which will always fall short. Please forgive me for writing this if it offends anyone, but I am compelled to speak the truth. -
Don't forget that Jeremy is in heaven! He made it to his reward early. One day we will get to see him again if we go to heaven in the end of our journey. Life is a test to see if we go to heaven or hell. Follow the 10 comandments and you will see him again.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of this young man. Do not remember the way he passed, instead remember the way he lived! God bless this young man and take him home to be at your side Lord.

Thank God for you all who searched and supported each other through this--the most devastating thing that could ever happen to your hearts. God be with you all and bring comfort and peace to your hearts again. Know that he is with his Lord and Savior and that God will help you all through it. Jeremy, look down here on your family and loved ones...show them that you are watching over them always! Rest in peace sweet angel!!!
